A New Chapter

Its been a long, long time again since my last blog...again.  The biggest news is that Aaron and I decided the drive to work every day, after nearly 3 years, was too much so, we bought a house in Tulsa. With gas prices going up and up plus wear and tear on two vehicles driving 3,000 miles each month, along with mortgage rates being so low, we decided now was the best time.  We both love the farm, but with both of us working in Tulsa and wanting to start a family in the next couple of years, staying longer would not be practical, espcially with kids in school or day care (when the time comes).  Aaron has said for a awhile now that if we decided to move, we needed to do it sooner rather than later because he does not want to be paying a mortgage when he is 70 years old.  If Aaron's grandma was still there, it would be different.  Fortunately, we have been able to save enough over the past years to make our first home our dream home.  Its plenty big and we dont see how we ever will grow out of it, which is what we wanted.  Neither one of us ever want to move again.  The location is excellent.  Across the street, are kindergarten through eigth grade and a mile away is the high school.  It's about a mile to the freeway so Aaron has easy access to his work, and it's only a few miles to my school.  Its taken a lot of trips, but we are finally all moved and are staying in our new home.  We wanted to be moved before I went back to work again so we would not have to worry about the commute from the farm.  Aaron will still go to the farm on weekends to take care of what needs to be done (and be able to walk around in his underwear without the fear of neighbors staring at his muscles, so he says).  I will go too sometimes because I just like it out there "in the country."
